UNI Global Union urges senators to help secure release of flotilla participant David Adler

UNI Global Union has sent a letter to U.S. Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff of California, urging them to take action for the immediate release of David Adler, a participant in the Sumud Flotilla. According to UNI, Adler is being held by Israeli authorities after members of the humanitarian mission to Gaza were detained in international waters.

David Adler serves as co-General Coordinator of Progressive International. UNI Global Union notes that he has collaborated with them on various campaigns, including initiatives focused on Amazon.
