Under Canvas, a company known for its safari-style accommodations in scenic locations across the United States, announced plans to open a new site in New Hampshire. The upcoming resort, called Under Canvas White Mountains, is scheduled to open in June 2026 and will be the brand’s second location in New England.

The new resort will be situated on 86 acres with views of Mount Washington, the Presidential Range, and nearby forests and orchards. It offers convenient access to White Mountain National Forest and is within driving distance of attractions such as Franconia Notch State Park, the Kancamagus Highway, the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and several towns including Littleton, Bethlehem, and Lancaster.

Guests at Under Canvas White Mountains can expect accommodations similar to those at other Under Canvas sites. The glamping tents feature West Elm furnishings inspired by nature, en suite bathrooms, furnished decks, pull-chain showers, wood-burning stoves, and USB-powered fans and lanterns instead of traditional electricity.

At the lobby tent, guests will have access to a cafe serving locally inspired dishes. There are also communal fire pits, outdoor games, live music programming, and yoga sessions available.

Reservations for Under Canvas White Mountains are now open. Nightly rates begin at $279. The property participates in the World of Hyatt program; soon it will be bookable on Hyatt’s website so World of Hyatt members can earn or redeem points during their stay.
