Emirates is marking Diwali with special offerings for passengers both onboard its flights and in its lounges. The airline has introduced traditional Indian sweets and festive foods for customers traveling during the holiday.

Passengers in Premium Economy and Economy Class will receive motichoor laddu, a dessert made from fried chickpea flour balls soaked in sugar syrup, flavored with cardamom and saffron, and garnished with pistachios. Those flying in First and Business Class will also be served Kajupista roll, a rose-flavored cashew and pistachio sweet with dried fruits, wrapped in silver leaves.

In Dubai, Emirates’ First and Business Class Lounges are serving Indian snacks such as onion kachoris and paneer potli samosas with chutneys. The dessert selection includes mango sandwiches, balushahi, kesar rasgullas, and gajar ka halwa. Lounge guests can also try Diwali-themed drinks: First Class customers are offered the Spicy Saffron Martini or a Chai Chat Latte mocktail, while Business Class customers have options like the Elderflower Gin Fizz cocktail or Berry Basil Splash mocktail.
