Aeroméxico has announced the opening of a new check-in area at Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport. This facility is specifically designed for Premier One, Sky Priority customers, and Aeroméxico credit card holders.

According to Aeroméxico's post on X, the airline is "celebrating at Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez CDMX with our new check-in area, which will benefit Premier One customers, Sky Priority, and those who have Aeroméxico cards." The post also highlights that this improvement "continues to elevate our customers’ experience" and includes images showcasing the new facility. This initiative underscores the airline's focus on enhancing convenience for premium customers at major hub airports.

CAPA reports that Aeroméxico officially inaugurated this exclusive check-in zone on October 14, 2025. The move aligns with the airline’s broader strategy to upgrade services at its main hub by reducing congestion and streamlining passenger flow. CAPA notes that this development reinforces Aeroméxico’s efforts to strengthen its premium product offering at its key gateway airport.

According to the airline's own check-in information section, differentiated services such as Sky Priority and Premier One check-in lanes are already provided to reduce wait times for elite clients. The introduction of a dedicated physical area emphasizes its commitment to these service tiers beyond mere lane designations. Such infrastructure enhancements can increase perceived value among frequent flyers and cardholders, supporting loyalty retention.

Aeroméxico, headquartered in Mexico City, operates both domestic and international routes across various continents including the Americas, Europe, and Asia. As a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, it maintains strategic hubs at Mexico City’s Benito Juárez Airport and Monterrey. Its frequent flyer program, Club Premier, along with co-branding and premium-service initiatives like the new check-in area, play crucial roles in its customer experience and loyalty strategy.
