A police officer was recorded kicking and stomping on a man's head during an arrest at Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport in the U.K. on Tuesday.

The incident involved an officer holding a taser over a man lying prone on the ground. The officer is seen kicking the man in the face and stomping on the back of his head twice while attempting to arrest suspects involved in what appeared to be a violent altercation between passengers. Police were called to the scene, where three officers were "punched to the ground." A female officer sustained a broken nose, and all three officers required hospitalization, escalating the police response.

An eyewitness reported that police approached a young man in his early 20s, informing him that he was wanted. As officers pinned him against a wall, another man intervened, leading to a scuffle. The pinned man reportedly began throwing punches before being tasered and falling to the ground, at which point the police officer kicked him.

Four men were arrested and charged with assaulting emergency service workers and fighting in a public place that disturbs the peace.

Opinions about this incident vary. Some see it as justified under difficult circumstances, while others view it as excessive force used beyond what was necessary to subdue the suspect. The incident raises questions about appropriate responses by law enforcement during such confrontations.
