United Airlines has announced a devaluation of its MileagePlus program, specifically affecting premium award prices for flights to Europe and South America. This move continues a trend that has seen the value of United miles diminish over time. Critics have noted that despite efforts by Andrew Nocella to improve the program, changes like these undermine consumer value. The hiring of a former Comcast executive to oversee the program has also raised concerns about the airline's commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Andrew Stiles commented on Twitter about a common travel inconvenience, sharing: "Didn’t stick around for departure checklist tasks – taking out the trash, stripping the beds, starting the dishwasher – but the host can’t fine him." He added humorously, "poor guy, we've all been there."

Paul H contributed his thoughts on deplaning music, proposing Dire Straits' ‘Walk of Life’ or Pete Townsend's ‘Let My Love Open The Door’. Reflecting on past practices, it was noted that American Airlines once had an impressive selection of boarding and deplaning music which introduced passengers to emerging artists.
