SmartSky Networks has ceased business operations as of August 17, 2024. The company, known for providing in-flight connectivity solutions, faced numerous challenges leading to this decision.

"SmartSky Networks has always been committed to delivering reliable and high-speed connectivity to our customers," a spokesperson for the company stated. "However, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to overcome the financial hurdles that have plagued us."

The spokesperson further added that all customer contracts will be honored through the transition period. "We understand the impact this decision may have on our clients and are working diligently to ensure a smooth transition," they said.
