Delta Air Lines is offering 10,000 miles in compensation to passengers who had to sit next to a vomiting passenger infected with COVID-19. The incident occurred on a flight from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where the affected passenger reportedly vomited throughout the entire 12-hour journey. According to an account from another passenger, "The FA’s did nothing about the situation – I think I counted the passenger vomiting at least 10 times on the floor and she refused to clean up after herself." The reporting passenger subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

In other travel news, TSA facial recognition technology recently identified a traveler with an active warrant for financial responsibilities. This has sparked discussions about privacy concerns related to airport security measures.

At Chicago O'Hare International Airport, a traveler was found carrying 41 pounds of marijuana in his luggage. When confronted by authorities, he claimed he had "a little weed."
