The ATR 72-600, a turboprop regional airliner manufactured by ATR, was showcased at the Farnborough International Airshow. ATR is a joint venture between Airbus in France and Leonardo in Italy. The "72" in its name denotes the typical seating capacity of the aircraft.

The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 turboprops, each developing 2,750 shaft horsepower (shp).
