Magnet Schultz is unveiling its first EN9100-certified hydrogen power product at the Farnborough Airshow this week. The UK-based company is showcasing its newest solenoid valve for hydrogen gas flow control in aerospace applications.

The high-tech proportional solenoid valve is built to comply with EN9100, which adheres to quality management standards set by the International Standards Organization (ISO 9001).

One of the first of its kind, the hydrogen gas flow regulator valve is supported by three other compact valves in the Magnet Schultz hydrogen and pressurized gas product family.

"Two of these valves are deployed in a confidential new engineering project for a pure aeronautical application focused on domestic flights," the company said. "One provides a vital safety shut-off function and the other controls water discharge and the recirculation of unspent hydrogen."

FIA visitors can see the new EN9100-certified solenoid flow control valve for the first time alongside other high-tech solenoid valve solutions at the Magnet Schultz display.
