Emirates has successfully transported the prestigious America's Cup trophy from Auckland to Barcelona in preparation for the match race finals. Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates, expressed enthusiasm about the airline's involvement. “We’re thrilled to be back on the water for Emirates Team New Zealand’s defence of the America’s Cup, and we’re also proud to again be the Global Partner and Official Airline of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup,” he stated.

Emirates continues its role as a key supporter of sailing, being both a Global Partner and Official Airline for this year's event. The airline will have significant visibility across Race Villages with branding on Emirates Team New Zealand's yacht 'Taihoro' and at official ceremonies. Additionally, during races, Emirates will engage with attendees by distributing branded merchandise through their cabin crew.

Since 2004, Emirates has been associated with sailing, starting as a naming sponsor for Emirates Team New Zealand. This long-standing partnership has seen successes such as victories in previous America's Cups. The airline renewed its commitment last year as Lead Sponsor and Official Airline for the team.
