Rome, Italy, 9 October 2024: dnata has secured a multi-year contract to provide inflight catering services to T’way Air at Rome Fiumicino Airport. The agreement involves dnata's teams producing and delivering over 80,000 meals annually for the South Korean airline's flights between Rome and Incheon. T’way Air will operate three weekly flights connecting the two cities.

Nicola Citarella, CEO of dnata Catering & Retail Italy, expressed satisfaction with the new partnership: “We are delighted to welcome T’way Air to Rome and thank them for putting their trust in dnata’s services. It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our teams in providing best-in-class services. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

dnata currently provides catering and retail services to 37 airlines across 11 airports in Italy, employing over 880 hospitality professionals. In the financial year 2023-24, they delivered more than 12 million meals for over 140,000 flights in Italy.

T’way Air is a low-cost airline based in South Korea that is expanding its European operations. Besides Rome, it has launched flights to Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Paris as part of its strategy to enhance connectivity between Europe and South Korea.

Globally, dnata’s catering division employs around 10,500 professionals who produce over 110 million meals annually from more than 60 locations worldwide.
