dnata Travel has observed a 21% increase in the average booking value for its in-store services in 2024 compared to the previous year. The company's 13 retail outlets across the UAE remain a preferred choice for residents seeking travel arrangements, driven by a growing demand for complex itineraries.

During the summer, multi-location trips across Europe gained popularity, with travelers opting for train and self-drive options. France, Italy, and Switzerland were common destinations included in these itineraries. Tailor-made trips within Asia also saw increased interest, particularly with multiple stops within countries like Thailand and Sri Lanka. Vietnam experienced a notable rise in demand.

Cruise itineraries featuring multiple country stops are on an upward trend as well. dnata Travel expects even higher interest as the GCC cruise season approaches this winter.

Meerah Ketait, Head of Retail and Leisure UAE at dnata Travel, stated: "Multi-destination itineraries are trending, as travellers look to experience the best of a region or country in one extended trip."

"Many of our customers prefer to book these complex journeys in-store," she added. "We offer a one-stop solution where travellers can book everything from flights and hotels to car rentals, tours and insurance."

One of their highest value bookings this year was a summer trip across France that included Paris, Cannes, and Monaco with a fashion theme. The itinerary encompassed flights, accommodation, private transport, and guided tours.

Looking towards winter, dnata Travel anticipates continued interest in multi-destination trips such as festive market tours across European cities accessible by train. There is also increased inquiry about Japan combining skiing on Hokkaido island with visits to Tokyo and Kyoto.

In-store bookings for ski holidays see rising demand each winter at dnata Travel outlets offering packages that include ski passes and guides. Lapland trips are also gaining traction among those interested in Northern Lights tours and igloo hotel stays.

Among dnata Travel's most popular retail locations are Emirates Group Technology Centre (Deira), Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, and Mirdif City Centre. The recently opened store at Dubai Hills Mall is experiencing significant growth in booking volumes.

For more information or assistance with travel plans, customers can visit any dnata Travel outlet across the UAE or access their website at www.dnataTravel.com.
