For over twenty years, FedEx has collaborated with Chinese institutions and zoos worldwide to ensure safe panda transportation between China and other countries. FedEx provided this service free of charge as part of its commitment to social responsibility and environmental protection.

Before flying out, the pandas spent some time getting accustomed to their cabin space for safety during transit. Upon arrival in Chengdu new caretakers greeted Lun Lun, Yang Yang, Ya Lun, Xi Lun before transferring them to their new home base.
Bao Li and Qing Bao will undergo quarantine upon arriving in Washington before making their public debut in January 2025.
Including these recent flights Fedex has now transported a total number of twenty-one giant panda transfers involving routes back-and-forth between America & mainland-China since past operations starting from year-2000 till date across various international destinations through specialized chartered Boeing-777F cargo planes branded under “Panda Express” banner ensuring utmost care delivered
