Federal Express Corporation, a leading global express transportation company, has announced the European launch of FedEx Surround®, an advanced monitoring and assistance solution designed to optimize logistics and supply chain management. This initiative aims to enhance package control and visibility for customers. The rollout will begin in the healthcare sector across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. Other European markets and sectors are expected to be included by late 2024 and early 2025.

FedEx Surround® employs monitoring technologies that can prevent potential disruptions in the shipping process. This allows FedEx and its clients to respond swiftly to shipments. The service offers three levels - Select, Preferred, and Premium - supporting various industries such as healthcare, aerospace, and high-tech with constant updates and intervention capabilities to ensure shipment integrity and timeliness.
