Lufthansa Cargo names Elodie Berthonneau VP for Asia-Pacific region

Elodie Berthonneau has been appointed as Vice President Asia-Pacific at Lufthansa Cargo, effective October 1, 2024. She will oversee the sales and handling operations in significant markets for the company, including China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Oceania. Before joining Lufthansa Cargo, Berthonneau was with Qatar Cargo as Vice President Network Planning and Strategic Partnership.

With over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, Berthonneau has held management roles in various areas such as sales and strategic planning at Qatar Airways and Air France KLM. Her career highlights include building start-ups and restructuring organizations. Her international work experience spans Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Lufthansa Cargo reported a revenue of 3 billion euros with a transport performance of 7.5 billion freight ton kilometers in 2023. Employing around 4,150 people globally, its focus remains on airport-to-airport business through a network covering about 300 destinations worldwide.
