From next Tuesday, all SWISS Economy and Premium Economy Class passengers departing from Zurich Airport will need to check in at Check-in 3, located at the rail station. This temporary change is due to the replacement of baggage belts on the Check-in 1 concourse. The adjustment will last approximately five months, with normal operations expected to resume by March 2025.

SWISS Business and First Class passengers can continue using Check-in 1. The change also impacts customers of Edelweiss and other Lufthansa Group airlines operating from Zurich. However, higher-status customers, unaccompanied minors, travelers with pets for cargo transport, and those with restricted mobility are not affected and may still use Check-in 1.

SWISS is actively informing its customers about these changes through various channels in collaboration with Flughafen Zürich AG. Notifications are sent via email and appear on digital boarding passes for online check-ins. Detailed information is available on their website.
