FedEx has been recognized as a 2024 "Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation" by Redefining the Road, the magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). The organization aims to support women in the trucking industry by promoting their achievements and reducing challenges they face.

Tracy Brightman, executive vice president and chief people officer at FedEx Corp., stated, "FedEx, which was founded on a people and service philosophy, is proud to support a diverse workforce full of exceptional women who work in roles across the company, including drivers, freight handlers, leadership, and everywhere in between." She added that FedEx supports gender diversity through investments in its people and programs focused on diversity, equity, inclusion & opportunity (DEI&O), along with policies ensuring merit-based hiring and promotions.

The selection process for this recognition involves two steps. First, nominations are reviewed against specific qualifications. Then individuals within the industry vote on a final list of companies. Each year WIT highlights "The Elite 30," comprising companies with the most votes; FedEx is included among these top 30.
