Lufthansa marks 65 years of flights between Thailand and Europe

Lufthansa is commemorating its 65th anniversary of flights connecting Thailand with Europe, marking a significant milestone since its inaugural flight from Hamburg to Bangkok on November 1, 1959. This historic journey took off as LH640, known then as the Super Constellation, and spanned nearly two days with stops in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Rome, Cairo, Karachi, and Calcutta before reaching Thailand.

Currently, Lufthansa offers multiple weekly flights between Europe and Thailand through its hubs in Munich and Frankfurt. The Lufthansa Group further connects Thailand to Europe via additional hubs in Zurich and Vienna with up to 31 weekly flights.
