Gulfstream Aerospace's flagship business jet, the G700, has achieved a significant milestone by setting 65 city-pair speed records. The aircraft demonstrated its capabilities during a global tour, covering over 55,000 nautical miles across six continents. Gulfstream aimed to showcase the jet's ability to connect distant cities faster than any other business jet.

The G700 traveled from Houston, Texas, to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 13 hours and 40 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.88. Other record-breaking routes included Paris to Dubai, Singapore to Istanbul, and Buenos Aires to Riyadh. These records have been officially recognized by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) and ratified by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

Powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G700 offers high efficiency and low emissions while cruising at Mach 0.90 with a maximum range of 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85. Its maximum operating altitude of 51,000 feet allows for smoother rides and reduced turbulence.

The G700 is also noted for its luxurious cabin experience. It can accommodate up to 19 passengers with customizable interiors divided into five living areas. The cabin features expansive windows and provides fresh air with low cabin altitude to enhance passenger well-being on long flights.

The aircraft is equipped with high-speed connectivity and intuitive cabin management systems for productivity and comfort. Gulfstream's use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in many record-setting flights highlights its commitment to sustainability.

The G700 has attracted interest from high-net-worth individuals and corporations due to its performance and luxury offerings. Its achievements set new benchmarks in business aviation, emphasizing technological advancements combined with customer-centric design.

With these accomplishments, the Gulfstream G700 stands as a leading example in the ultra-long-range jet market.
