Bilt Rewards, known for allowing members to earn points on rent payments, is now extending its benefits to homebuyers. Through a collaboration with eXp Realty, Bilt members can accumulate points when purchasing a new home. These points are redeemable for travel bookings with airlines and hotels, home decor purchases, fitness classes, and more.

For renters using the Bilt App at in-network properties with a non-Bilt card, 250 points per monthly rent payment can be earned, totaling up to 3,000 points annually. Holders of the Bilt Mastercard® can earn one point per dollar spent on rent payments up to 100,000 points each year. The card must be used five times each statement period to accrue these rewards.

The new benefit allows potential homeowners working with an eXp Realty agent to earn one point for every $2 spent on the home's purchase price. For example, buying a $450,000 home could yield 225,000 Bilt points.

Leo Pareja, CEO of eXp Realty stated in a press release: "At eXp Realty, we're committed to empowering homebuyers with innovative solutions that make the journey to homeownership more accessible and rewarding." He further added that their partnership with Bilt provides significant rewards during the crucial process of buying a home.

According to valuations from November 2024 by TPG (The Points Guy), each Bilt point is valued at approximately 2.05 cents. Thus, earning 225,000 points would equate to about $4,612 in value. To maximize this value, TPG suggests transferring rewards points to airline and hotel partners for travel bookings.

In summary, Bilt's new offering aims at enhancing its loyalty program by targeting those looking to buy homes through eXp Realty.
