Taiwanese airline EVA Air has announced plans to introduce nonstop flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Taipei, starting in November 2025. This new route will mark the airline's seventh U.S. gateway and is expected to cater to high passenger and cargo demands due to frequent business activities and convenient connections to Central and South America.

The service is set to commence on November 3, 2025, with five weekly round trips. While EVA Air has not disclosed which aircraft will be used for this route, the Boeing 777-300ER is currently their most common long-haul jet. Additionally, the airline has several Airbus A350-1000 jets on order, which may serve some U.S. routes in the future.

EVA Air aims to enhance its Royal Laurel business class by introducing suites with privacy doors as part of upcoming retrofits for existing jets. The carrier already operates nonstop flights from six other U.S. cities: Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and New York.

Increased competition from fellow Taiwanese carrier Starlux poses a challenge for EVA Air as both airlines expand their services between Taiwan and the United States.

Travelers interested in booking flights with EVA Air can use points and miles through various programs such as Citi ThankYou Rewards or Capital One miles transferred into EVA's Infinity MileageLands program. Award space is also available within Star Alliance programs like Air Canada Aeroplan or Singapore KrisFlyer.
