Over 35 passenger airlines operate between Asia and the US, with 32 being Asian carriers. The analysis includes the Middle East and US territories in the Pacific, based on Cirium Diio information. These airlines average 242 daily take-offs.

Japan Airlines is currently the leading Asian airline serving routes to and from the US. "Japan Airlines is comfortably Asia's leading operator to/from the US," as it benefits from 17 routes from four Japanese cities, excluding its low-cost carrier ZIPAIR.

Qatar Airways has moved up to second place following a significant increase in flights and new routes to San Francisco and Seattle. It previously ranked sixth before this expansion.

"While Japan Airlines was also the number one Asian airline before the pandemic, much has changed." Qatar Airways' rise is attributed to a "41% increase in flights from higher frequencies."

All Nippon Airways, Korean Air, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Air India, and El Al complete the list of top ten Asian carriers serving the US. Notably, China Eastern Airlines and Air China have dropped out due to a slow recovery in China-US travel.

El Al's growth can be attributed to replacing Boeing 747-400s with lower-capacity Boeing 787s and adding more flights on existing routes. This change led to a "47% more US flights" for El Al despite challenges such as war-related impacts.

Air India's presence in this list follows a substantial increase in its US operations by 27%, although it remains underserved by nonstop services.
