European low-cost airline easyJet has collaborated with Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) to introduce its Airbus A320 family aircraft to the game's latest edition. This partnership allows players to fly easyJet's single-aisle jets across its network, and it is accompanied by an online campaign celebrating the collaboration.

The easyJet A320 family will be available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, accessible on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam, and through Xbox Game Pass. The game will feature easyJet’s Airbus A319, A320, A320neo, and A321neo models in the airline’s signature orange livery. Players can explore over 1,000 routes to 160 destinations across Europe and North Africa.

easyJet Chief Operating Officer Captain David Morgan expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We’re excited to be a part of the Microsoft Flight Simulator community, which is not only a fantastic opportunity for us to share our passion for flying with players around the world but something we hope will help to inspire the next generation of pilots and aviation enthusiasts.”

The airline operates a fleet of over 300 aircraft from multiple European airports and has approximately 300 more A320 family aircraft on order. In celebration of this partnership with MSFS, easyJet and Xbox UK are running a competition until December 13. The contest offers a Premium Jumbo Deluxe Edition of the game as a prize and is open to UK and Ireland citizens aged 18 or older.

Participants can enter by following Xbox UK and easyJet on Instagram and commenting on where they would like to fly using the in-game easyJet aircraft under the giveaway post. Three winners will be selected randomly from all entries.

Microsoft Flight Simulator has been popular among aviation enthusiasts for years. The latest edition was released on November 19, 2024, featuring new elements such as worldwide Aviation Careers and a Challenge League System.

In addition to this gaming venture, easyJet continues expanding its operations. It plans to open new bases at Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino Airports in spring 2025 as part of integrating ITA Airways into the Lufthansa Group. The expansion includes basing five aircraft in Milan and three in Rome, creating around 300 jobs.

Furthermore, easyJet announced it would launch 26 new routes starting summer 2025 from ten UK airports. Among these is a route to Sal in Cape Verde from London Gatwick starting March 31, operating thrice weekly.
