The island of Crete in Greece is set to welcome its first JW Marriott resort this year. The JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa, located on Marathi Beach near Chania, is now accepting reservations for stays starting August 1, 2025.

The resort will feature 160 rooms, suites, and villas spread over more than 100 acres. Guests staying in suites and villas can expect private pools or jacuzzis. Dining options include a variety of restaurants offering Cretan, seafood, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine.

Stelios Koutsivitis, president of Swot Hospitality, stated that "the debut οf JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa will redefine luxury hospitality in the Mediterranean" and reinforce "Greece's position as an attractive destination for luxury brands and international jetsetters."

For those interested in booking a stay, reservations are open with cash rates starting at approximately $290 per night in October. However, Marriott Bonvoy point rates have not yet been released.
