JetBlue Airways has been recognized as the Design Airline of the Year North America for 2024. This award highlights JetBlue's dedication to innovative design and enhancing passenger experience.

TheDesignAir, which hosts the annual awards, evaluates airlines based on various criteria such as aircraft exteriors, cabin interiors, and overall passenger experience. "Yet again JetBlue continues its winning streak," stated TheDesignAir. They noted JetBlue's consistent brand identity and upcoming initiatives like introducing lounges in 2025.

JetBlue was established in 2000 and is headquartered in the United States. Joanna Geraghty serves as CEO. The airline's hubs include Boston Logan International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, New York JFK Airport, Orlando International Airport, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

JetBlue is known for its distinct design elements including unique liveries and the Mint cabin which offers premium features at competitive prices. These features aim to enhance passenger comfort with amenities like fully lie-flat seats and private suites.

In addition to aesthetics, JetBlue focuses on sustainability by transitioning to fuel-efficient aircraft and using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). These efforts align with global climate change initiatives.

Other winners of the Design Airline of the Year awards include LATAM for South America, Condor for Europe, Etihad Airways for both Middle East and globally as the overall winner with a score of 87.6 points.

Despite not making it to the top three globally, JetBlue placed 15th among the world's Top 20 Design Airlines of 2024 with a score of 75.7 points.
