The Lufthansa Group has announced plans to hire approximately 10,000 new employees across various roles in 2025. The recruitment drive will include more than 2,000 flight attendants, over 1,400 ground staff for Ground Operations, and around 1,300 technical experts. Additionally, the company aims to recruit about 1,200 administrative staff and around 800 pilots. More than half of these new hires are expected to be based in Germany.

Lufthansa Technik is set to welcome over 2,000 new employees. Austrian Airlines and Eurowings are each seeking approximately 700 new staff members.

In contrast, Lufthansa Airlines will continue its Turnaround efficiency program in 2025 and plans to hire fewer employees compared to the previous year. The airline intends to recruit about 1,200 people within the next year with a focus on operational roles.

Over the last three years, the Lufthansa Group has recruited more than 30,000 new employees.
