Delta Air Lines is set to expand its airport lounge offerings in 2025 with the introduction of eight new or expanded facilities, including a fourth Delta One Lounge. This follows last year's milestone for Delta's lounge portfolio, where the airline opened its first business class-only lounges at three major coastal hubs.

The fourth Delta One Lounge is scheduled to open at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) in May. The facility will cover nearly 11,000 square feet and feature an open-air terrace with views of Mount Rainier. It will be part of a complex that includes a new Sky Club near Gate 11 in Concourse A.

Tim Genovese, director of Delta Sky Club operations, explained that the new Seattle Sky Club would be located directly beneath the Delta One Lounge. "It'll be stacked on top of one another. It will have an upper floor for our Delta One, and then the Sky Club will be on the lower level," he said.

In Salt Lake City, Delta plans to open a larger Sky Club later this year on Concourse B. The new facility will measure 34,000 square feet and is expected to debut between October and December.

At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Delta will unveil a new 23,000 square foot Sky Club as part of renovations in Concourse D. Additionally, upgrades are planned for existing clubs in Concourses A and C.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will see a 2,000 square foot expansion of its Sky Club by late 2025. This development comes as American Airlines also prepares to launch a Flagship Lounge at PHL.

Despite these expansions, changes are coming for frequent flyers regarding access rules. Starting February 1st, SkyMiles members using American Express credit cards for lounge access will face limits on their visits per calendar year.
