FedEx team members have dedicated over 1,000 volunteer hours to support flood-affected communities in Thailand. More than 800 employees from the express transportation company collected and donated over 3,600 kilograms of essential supplies. These efforts benefited more than 1,650 individuals, including children, the elderly, and underserved groups.

The initiative was part of a collaboration with the Mirror Foundation in Thailand. Over 200 FedEx team members gathered relief supplies such as bedding, kitchenware, and cleaning supplies. The donations weighed around 450 kilograms and were directed towards rural communities impacted by prolonged floods in Northern Thailand.

This effort was part of the annual FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign which ran from October to December 31, 2024. The campaign aimed to empower FedEx employees to support NGOs within their local communities. Volunteers from eleven markets across the region participated in this program.

FedEx teams provided aid by forming groups that worked with selected charities. They collected items like packaged food, books, toys, winter clothing, and hygiene kits for distribution in purple tote bags symbolizing care and compassion.

Kawal Preet, President of FedEx Asia Pacific expressed pride in the campaign's success: “At FedEx, we know that building real connections and making a difference in our communities is at the heart of what we do... It makes me incredibly proud to see our team members step up and support those in need – this reflects the values of ‘teamwork’ and ‘taking care of each other’ that shape who we are.”

Sasathorn Phaspinyo, managing director of FedEx Thailand added: “We are incredibly proud of the proactive participation from our team members for this initiative... Together with the Mirror Foundation, we are making collective efforts to deliver hope and care to those most affected by natural disasters across the country.”

FedEx Cares encourages global participation among its employees through volunteering and service activities throughout the year. In FY24 alone, FedEx contributed $55 million in charitable contributions worldwide focusing on various programs.
