With Delta Air Lines marking its centennial year, several developments are underway to enhance the passenger experience. The airline introduced its Delta One Lounges at New York-JFK, Los Angeles (LAX), and Boston Logan International (BOS) last year. These lounges aim to offer a premium travel experience with "world-class dining, indulgent wellness experiences, and a new standard of elevated service," according to Delta Air Lines.

Delta's plans for this year include expanding its Sky Club facilities across various airports. Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), Delta's largest hub, will see the opening of a new 23,000-square-foot Club near Gate D16 this spring. This will be the second-largest Sky Club at ATL since 2016. Upgrades are also planned for existing Clubs in Concourses A and C.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is set to open a combined Delta Sky Club and Delta One Lounge this summer as part of the Concourse A expansion plan. The Seattle facility will feature a total of 25,000 square feet on two floors, with the Sky Club occupying 14,000 square feet on the lower level and an 11,000-square-foot Delta One Lounge on the upper level.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) will have a second Sky Club Lounge opening in late 2025 on Concourse B. This new lounge will span 34,000 square feet, making it one of the largest in Delta's network.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is undergoing an expansion of its existing Sky Club near the Terminal D/E connector. This project will add over 2,000 square feet and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is also seeing an expansion of its Sky Club by approximately 3,300 square feet.

Access to Delta One Lounges is restricted to passengers flying in the Delta One class or those with specific credentials such as being a Delta 360° member or flying first- or business-class with partner airlines like Air France and Virgin Atlantic. The airline emphasizes that other credentials like Delta Sky Club membership do not grant access to these exclusive lounges.

Delta Sky Club offers amenities including complimentary cocktails and food options at more than 50 locations. Medallion members can purchase annual memberships for access.
