Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has announced the expansion of its FedEx International Connect Plus (FICP) service to Indonesia. This service, aimed at facilitating international e-commerce deliveries with a one-day guarantee, is now available to online business owners in Indonesia. Previously accessible in Asia-Pacific markets such as China, Hong Kong SAR, and Japan, this expansion allows Indonesian businesses to offer reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions to major destinations in the United States and Europe.

The extension of FICP aligns with FedEx's commitment to supporting cross-border e-commerce growth from Asia to the United States and Europe. E-commerce sales in Asia are projected to reach USD 13.209 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 17.6% from 2023 through 2030. In Indonesia, the e-commerce market remains promising with a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of USD 59 billion in 2022, expected to rise to USD 95 billion by 2025 and potentially reaching USD 220-360 billion by 2030. This development enables Indonesian e-commerce sellers to provide affordable international shipping solutions while ensuring most shipments arrive within two to three business days in the US and Europe.
