Each Super Bowl brings unique moments, yet some traditions remain constant. Among them is the familiar declaration by players from the winning team: "We're going to Disney!" This phrase is part of a commercial filmed shortly after the game concludes, requiring quick edits and contract signings despite the game's uncertain outcome until its final moments.

The tradition began in 1987 when Phil Simms, quarterback of that year's Super Bowl-winning team, was reportedly paid $75,000 to say the line and visit Disney World. Since then, it has become a regular feature of Super Bowl celebrations.

Players who participate in this commercial typically visit either Disney World or Disneyland the day following their victory. For this year's event held in New Orleans, winners will travel to Disney World. Disney confirmed via Instagram that they will host a celebration with this year's victors on February 10 at Disney World.

Fans visiting Disney parks post-Super Bowl may witness representatives from the winning team participating in a parade on Main Street, U.S.A., often featuring the game's MVP. The tradition is expected to continue at Disneyland for both 2026 and 2027 as those games are scheduled in California. After February 10, 2025, such celebrations are anticipated to resume at Disney World when Atlanta hosts the Super Bowl in 2028.
