Hilton Honors has reintroduced its status match program, providing a pathway for elite members of other hotel loyalty programs to experience Hilton's offerings. The initiative allows participants to gain Hilton Honors Gold status for 90 days, with an opportunity to fast-track to Diamond status.

Participants can maintain their Gold status by staying eight paid nights or achieve Diamond status by completing 14 paid nights within the trial period. This offer extends the achieved status through March 31, 2027. Eligible programs for this match include Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards, World of Hyatt, Best Western Rewards, and Choice Privileges.

To apply for the status match, individuals must provide their name, email address, Hilton Honors account number (which can be created online), current hotel loyalty program status level, proof of that status, and evidence of a stay in the last year with the respective program.

The process requires up to 12 business days for a response from Hilton's website. Applicants are advised not to delay their submissions as only one Hilton status match is permitted per lifetime.

Hilton Honors also offers various ways to earn elite statuses through credit card partnerships. For instance, Silver and Gold statuses are accessible via certain American Express cards while Diamond status can be obtained through specific spending thresholds on designated cards.

Tanner Saunders from The Points Guy notes that previous versions of this program required multiple submissions before new statuses were activated. Participants should ensure they meet all requirements before applying.
