John Wayne Airport has released its air traffic statistics for January 2025. The data indicates a decline in several key areas compared to the same period last year.

The total number of passengers in January 2025 was 813,483, marking an 8.1% decrease from January 2024's figure of 884,884. Enplaned passengers fell by 7.8% to 404,650 from last year's count of 439,079, while deplaned passengers decreased by 8.3% to 408,833 from .445805

Total aircraft operations saw a slight drop of .1%, with .24305 operations recorded in January .025 compared to .24587 in the same month last year. General aviation operations dipped by .0% to .16302 from .16472 and commercial operations declined by .7% to .7401 from .7686.
