Emirates, the largest Airbus A380 operator with a fleet of 116 aircraft, is set to dominate the skies this summer. According to ch-aviation, Emirates' A380s have capacities ranging from 468 seats in a four-class layout to an unusual 615 seats in a two-class configuration. Cirium Diio data reveals that Emirates will operate between 78 and 79 daily flights from its Dubai International hub, accounting for two-thirds of all A380 flights globally during the coming summer.

The northern aviation summer season, based on IATA slot seasons, will run from March 30 until October 25 for Emirates and other northern carriers. During this period, the Gulf airline will fly the double-decker quadjet to 51 airports worldwide from Dubai.

Christchurch will be served exclusively on a one-stop basis via Sydney. Meanwhile, Hong Kong and New York JFK both have one-stop services supplementing their non-stop A380 operations; flights are via Bangkok for Hong Kong and via Milan Malpensa for New York.

The A380's network will cover 32 countries across Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America. Cirium Diio data indicates that there are fewer A380 services to the Middle East compared to last summer due to Riyadh no longer receiving the superjumbo and no time-limited services planned for Bahrain in 2025.
