Cathay Technologies' key product, the Electronic Flight Folder (EFF), developed in 2019, offers pilots an optimized solution for accessing flight information, leading to cost savings and efficient workflow. Currently used by pilots in Cathay's airlines, the EFF will now be commercialized.

The new subsidiary has also partnered with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) under the Co-Acceleration Programme Fund. This move is aimed at supporting startups through investment and strategic advice.

Navin Chellaram, Cathay General Manager of Digital Ventures and CEO of Cathay Technologies, expressed their commitment: "Cathay has a long-standing commitment to supporting Hong Kong’s technology ecosystem and fostering innovation and economic growth in the wider Greater Bay Area, including through our signature Cathay Hackathon and our successful graduate trainee programme."

As a partner in the HKSTP Co-Acceleration Fund, Cathay Technologies will aid startups with funding and expertise to scale operations and bring products to market. More information can be found at www.cathaytechnologies.com.
