Emirates is expanding its service offerings by adding its four-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring premium economy cabins to ten new routes this summer. The airline's network, which already includes five destinations in the United States for these premium-equipped planes, will now see flights from Dubai to several international destinations including Cape Town, Colombo, Dublin, and others.

Not all airports will witness the four-class 777-300ERs at the same time. In April and May, Colombo and London-Stansted will receive these aircraft. Starting June, Dublin, Lisbon, and Male will join the list. By July, except for Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Kolkata, all other new destinations will see premium economy-equipped aircraft. In August, the service will commence in Kolkata, and by September, both South African cities will have the aircraft touching down.

In March, Emirates detailed its schedule for the four-class Boeing widebodies’ services. Starting April 14, these aircraft will fly to London-Stansted and from May 7 to Seoul Incheon. From June 1, London-Stansted will have twice-daily services. The refurbished Boeing 777s include a premium economy cabin described as providing a blend of privacy and comfort.

Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, spoke on plans to bring the refurbished 777-300ERs to six U.S. routes, citing the success of premium economy on the Airbus A380 as a driving force. Kazim emphasized the airline's commitment to providing value through the addition of more premium options.

Ch-aviation data reveals Emirates currently operates 20 such 777-300ERs and plans to retrofit 81 aircraft in total, expanding their refurbishment program that was announced in May 2024.
