Federal Express Corporation, widely known as FedEx, is set to participate for the first time in the third International Cold Chain Industry Exhibition (KOREA COLD CHAIN 2025). The exhibition will take place from April 22 to 25 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Ilsan.

This event, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), is organized by the Korea Food Cold Chain Association and KY Exposition. It's a platform to explore the future of cold chain logistics, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions across various fields requiring temperature control such as the transport, distribution, storage, packaging, and supply chain management of perishable goods and healthcare products. The exhibition coincides with other major logistics shows, including the 15th Korea International Logistics Fair (KOREA MAT).

FedEx will present its comprehensive logistics services through a booth themed around "FedEx," "Express," "Freight," and "Cold Chain." The focus will be on demonstrating end-to-end cold chain logistics capabilities for temperature-sensitive shipments, from perishable foods to precision pharmaceuticals.

The exhibition will also feature the FedEx Global Life Sciences Center network and "FedEx Surround Monitoring and Intervention," highlighting advanced cargo visibility and control capabilities. Expert teams will be on site to engage in detailed consultations with both existing and potential clients.

Visitors to the FedEx booth can take a virtual tour of the expanded FedEx Korea Life Sciences Center in Gimpo. This state-of-the-art facility, which tripled in size in November of last year to cover 2,288 square meters, maintains five zones with temperatures ranging from -150°C to +25°C, adhering to pharmaceutical industry cold chain standards under constant monitoring.

FedEx is also participating in the "2025 New Technology Seminar for Cold Chain Advancement" on April 23. During this seminar, FedEx Korea Managing Director Park Won-bin will discuss "FedEx Healthcare Cold Chain Solutions," sharing insights on cold chain logistics trends, the growing importance of biopharmaceutical logistics, and strategies for strengthening FedEx’s healthcare logistics capabilities, including facilities at the Korea Life Sciences Center and Incheon Gateway.

Park Won-bin stated, "As the importance of cold chain logistics continues to grow globally, Korea plays a key role in driving its development. Based on continuous investment in the domestic market, FedEx is committed to providing tailored comprehensive solutions to meet evolving customer needs."
