Emirates has announced a new partnership between its Skywards loyalty program and Emarat's EmCan program, allowing members to convert Skywards Miles into EmCoins and vice versa. The collaboration was disclosed in a post on X.

According to the Government of Dubai Media Office, this marks Emirates Skywards' first points conversion partnership with EmCan, the loyalty program of Emarat. The initiative enables members to exchange Skywards Miles for EmCoins and vice versa, thereby enhancing the flexibility and value of their loyalty rewards. This partnership underscores Emirates Skywards' commitment to expanding brand partnerships and providing members with more opportunities to earn and redeem rewards.

Travel and Tour World reports that members can convert 2,000 Skywards Miles into 3,000 EmCoins, which are redeemable at over 155 Emarat locations including service stations, Café Arabicca, Freshplus markets, and Bakeria. Conversely, EmCan members can exchange 1,000 EmCoins for 100 Skywards Miles, usable for flights, upgrades, and other travel benefits. This two-way conversion system offers greater flexibility in utilizing loyalty points.

Breaking Travel News states that the conversion process requires members to link their Emirates Skywards and EmCan accounts through the respective apps. Members must also save at least one payment card in the Skywards Everyday app to enable conversions. This streamlined process ensures a seamless experience for those looking to maximize their rewards.

Emirates Skywards is the loyalty program of Emirates Airline with over 35 million members worldwide. The program offers four membership tiers—Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum—each providing exclusive privileges. Members can redeem Skywards Miles for various rewards including flight tickets, upgrades, hotel stays, and unique experiences.
