Emirates and flydubai reported a significant milestone, as over 5 million passengers traveled on their combined network in the past year, marking a 36% increase from the previous year. The partnership, which began in 2017, has afforded more than 22 million passengers enhanced travel choices and convenience through a joint network expanding to 240 destinations in over 100 countries.

This collaboration supports the D33 vision to position Dubai as a major economic hub with extensive global connectivity. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum stated, "The Emirates and flydubai partnership has been a gamechanger for both carriers. It is a testament to collaborative excellence that has delivered more flight options and a better experience for travellers, underpinned by a vast network that connects every corner of the globe. I’m immensely proud of what has been achieved so far, and look forward to the next phase of growth and impact that both Emirates and flydubai will have on enhancing Dubai’s connectivity and shaping the future of air travel across regions."

The joint network, which initially launched with 29 cities, has grown considerably, adding more flight options and an integrated loyalty programme to benefit passengers. Customers currently have the choice among 295 codeshare flights daily, allowing for flexible schedule planning. More than 330 weekly flights operated by flydubai take off from Terminal 3 to various international destinations like Zanzibar, Kathmandu, and Riyadh, enhancing connectivity at Dubai Airport.

The Emirates Skywards programme, providing rewards and benefits to over 35 million global members, continues to strengthen loyalty among passengers. Tickets are available through multiple platforms, including their respective websites, apps, and retail stores.

Flydubai has grown significantly since its launch in 2009, now serving more than 130 destinations with a fleet of 89 Boeing aircraft. The airline focuses on facilitating travel and enhancing connections across regions, boasting the accomplishment of opening over 95 new routes previously underserved from Dubai.
