Air France has announced the showcasing of its new La Première suite at its beach lounge during the Cannes Film Festival.

According to Air France’s official newsroom, the airline reopened its private beach lounge along the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes from May 13 to 24, 2025, coinciding with the 78th Cannes Film Festival. The venue features a seaside terrace, restaurant, sun loungers, and bar, offering a high-end hospitality experience to festival guests. A key attraction this year is a full-scale mock-up of the new La Première suite, available for viewing on-site by reservation.

As reported by Condé Nast Traveler, the newly designed La Première suite from Air France provides a fully customizable private space aimed at elevating first-class air travel. Each suite includes an individual seat and a separate chaise lounge, both of which convert into a 2-meter-long fully flat bed. Enhanced with luxury details such as 32-inch 4K displays, Bluetooth connectivity, floor-to-ceiling privacy curtains, and personal storage, the suite caters to premium passenger comfort and privacy.

According to travel site One Mile at a Time, the La Première suite is currently in service on Air France’s Paris-Charles de Gaulle to New York-JFK route aboard a Boeing 777-300ER. The airline plans to expand the offering to additional destinations such as Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda. This rollout aligns with Air France’s broader strategy to reinforce its luxury long-haul service segment and cater to high-end clientele.

As outlined by Air France’s corporate site, the airline was founded in 1933 and serves as the flag carrier of France. It is a core component of the Air France–KLM Group and operates one of Europe’s most extensive global flight networks with a fleet composed of both Airbus and Boeing aircraft. A founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, Air France plays a major role in connecting Europe to major markets across North and South America, Asia, and Africa.
