The Greater Jamaica Development Corporation (GJDC) is an organization focused on community building through responsible development to revitalize Jamaica and strengthen the region. By utilizing resources from various sectors, GJDC aims to expand economic opportunities and improve the quality of life for Jamaica's diverse residents.

Recently, Mark V. Noffke, C.P.A., Executive Director at the Sue Ling Gin Foundation Trust, spoke at a GJDC event that connected local entrepreneurs with elected officials. The event aimed to discuss key issues and growth opportunities for businesses.

At the same gathering, David Cotton, CEO of Flying Food Group, shared insights during the Small Business Legislative Cocktail Hour. Noffke expressed appreciation for being invited to speak at the event honoring small businesses in Southeast Queens. He noted that although Flying Food Group has grown significantly from its humble beginnings, it remains proud of its roots.

Flying Food Group's JFK facility was established over 15 years ago with support from Greater Jamaica. The company actively participates in community events and employs many residents from local zip codes. Many employees are constituents of New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, whose office has been a partner in advocating for economic development.

Flying Food Group takes pride in its diverse workforce in Southeast Queens and supports their growth and development to ensure they have opportunities to thrive.
