Delta Air Lines has announced the addition of two seasonal routes for the upcoming holiday season. The routes will connect Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Vail's Eagle County Regional Airport and New York JFK Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. These services will be available from December 20th this year until January 4th next year.
The new routes aim to cater to travelers seeking winter getaways, whether it be skiing in Vail or enjoying the beaches in Sarasota. Delta is expanding its offerings at ski destinations while providing an alternative route for New Yorkers heading to Florida's Gulf Coast. According to Aviation A2Z, both routes will operate daily using regional aircraft under the Delta Connection brand.
Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, commented on the airline's strategy: “Delta is creating essential connections from our state-of-the-art hubs to bring premier ski resorts and beach destinations within easy reach. Our winter schedule will provide customers with more choices than ever, with up to 190 weekly flights to places our customers want to fly to most, paired with the premium services and amenities our customers always enjoy.”
