Vietnam Airlines has been recognized by AirlineRatings.com as one of the World's Top 25 Safest Full-Service Airlines for 2025. The airline's safety record is commendable, with no fatal accidents in nearly three decades and consistent compliance with the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) since 2006.

The airline offers a Premium Economy class that has been awarded Best Value Premium Economy in both 2024 and 2025. This service provides wider seats, generous legroom, enhanced dining, priority boarding, and dedicated cabin service at a reasonable price increase over standard economy.

Vietnam Airlines operates a fleet of 96 aircraft with an average age of 9.6 years, including modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and Airbus A350-900s. These aircraft are known for their fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
