Qatar Airways 777-300ER | Qatar Airways

The 2025 Paris Air Show is set to take place at Le Bourget from June 16 to 22, and Boeing has confirmed its plans for the event. The company aims to focus on "advancing innovation, partnerships, and collaboration" during the show.

Boeing will showcase a variety of commercial, defense, and advanced air mobility products. The static display will include commercial jets and defense aircraft. The company's Pavilion will offer immersive displays and interactive demonstrations of its global aerospace portfolio.

Among the aircraft on display is a Qatar Airways 777-300ER, celebrating Paris Saint-Germain's recent UEFA Champions League victory. In the defense segment, platforms such as the F-15EX Eagle II, F/A-18 Hornet, P-8A Poseidon, KC-46A Pegasus, CH-47 Chinook, and C-17 Globemaster III will be featured in the US Department of Defense corral. The 777X will not participate in the flying display but visitors can experience its interior through a full-size cabin mock-up in Chalet C-2.

Boeing President and CEO Kelly Ortberg stated: "We continue to make fundamental changes across Boeing to strengthen safety, quality, and our culture, and we are seeing steady improvement in our performance. We look forward to connecting with our customers and partners at Le Bourget to demonstrate the work underway to restore trust and move Boeing forward."

The Pavilion will also host tech demonstrations highlighting Boeing’s capabilities in satellite operations, autonomous tools, digital aviation tools as well as technologies related to aircraft modification and fleet sustainment. Additionally, Boeing's subsidiary Wisk Aero will display its sixth-generation autonomous electric air taxi.

Wisk's eVTOL aircraft is undergoing flight testing under a Special Airworthiness Certificate aiming for FAA type certification with plans for commercial operations by 2032. Boeing executives are scheduled to participate in forums covering topics like sustainable aviation fuel and advanced aerospace technologies.

As Boeing enters this year's show in a stronger position than before with over 300 new orders recorded last May while Airbus reported none. This raises expectations for potential announcements from both manufacturers during the week despite ongoing supply chain issues that could affect their scale or timing.
