Emirates is advising its customers to prepare for a busy travel week ahead, emphasizing the importance of planning for increased airport traffic. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight and pass through immigration 1.5 hours before departure. Reaching the boarding gate one hour prior to departure is also recommended.

To facilitate a smoother travel experience, Emirates suggests downloading their app, which allows passengers to check in online, manage bookings, and access flight details. The app provides additional features such as meal pre-ordering and entertainment planning.

For those flying from Dubai, luggage can be dropped off at the airport up to 24 hours before departure or 12 hours if traveling to the US. Alternatively, passengers can use the Emirates City Check-In & Travel Store in Dubai International Financial Centre for early check-in services.

Home check-in options are available for travelers in Dubai and Sharjah, with agents handling luggage pickup directly from residences or hotels. This service is complimentary for First Class passengers and Platinum Skywards members.

Emirates offers transport options within Terminal 3, including a train between Concourses A and B and a shuttle bus between Concourses A and C. First Class customers have access to dedicated buggies upon request.

Travelers are reminded to adhere to baggage regulations concerning restricted items like power banks and e-cigarettes. Pre-ordering duty-free shopping via EmiratesRED.com is an option for those looking to save time at the airport.

Support services are available for People of Determination, providing priority lanes and dedicated assistance at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
