EVA Air has announced the introduction of new nonstop flights between Dallas Fort Worth and Taipei, set to commence on October 3, 2025. The service will be operated using the airline's latest Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This announcement was made on the social media platform X.

According to EVA Air, this new route will establish a direct transpacific connection for travelers in the central United States, enhancing convenience for both business and leisure trips to Asia. The launch is part of EVA Air’s strategy to expand its presence in North America and offer more options for long-haul travelers.

The official schedule from EVA Air indicates that flight BR049 will depart from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) at 22:50, arriving in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) at 04:05 two days later. Conversely, flight BR050 will leave Taipei at 19:10 and reach Dallas at 19:40 on the same day. Both flights will utilize the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, noted for its fuel efficiency and passenger-friendly features. DFW Airport’s route map confirms that EVA Air will be among the few Asian airlines offering direct service between North Texas and East Asia.
