Etihad Airways has announced the activation of its codeshare agreement with Ethiopian Airlines, enhancing access to 55 African destinations and connecting Africa with Asia, Australia, and the Middle East through Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa.

According to the official Etihad Airways X account, this new agreement provides travelers with direct booking access to a broader network across these regions. Passengers can benefit from coordinated schedules, facilitating easier connections between flights operated by both airlines at Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa. Etihad Airways said that this partnership aims to reinforce both airlines' positions as regional leaders while delivering seamless travel experiences for customers.

Simple Flying reports that the activated codeshare allows Etihad guests to reach up to 55 African destinations on Ethiopian Airlines.
