Eurowings reported stable performance for the first half of 2025, operating 77,000 flights and transporting over 10 million passengers. The airline achieved an on-time arrival rate of about 80 percent and a regularity rate of 99 percent. Customer satisfaction was measured with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 47, which is considered high within the industry.

Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, stated: “We responded to the strong demand for tourist travel by significantly expanding our program and flying our guests to 150 destinations across Europe with a high degree of reliability and punctuality. Our top performance reflects our clear focus on quality, reliability and customer orientation. It is also the result of a strong team effort and the successful expansion of Eurowings into a value airline for Europe.”

The airline expanded its network to include 150 direct destinations in 36 countries to meet increased travel demand.

Skytrax recognized Eurowings as the ‘Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe 2025’, highlighting its service efforts and price-performance ratio.

Despite these operational results, the Lufthansa Group’s point-to-point business segment—which includes Eurowings and its stake in SunExpress—recorded an adjusted EBIT loss of 137 million euros by June 30, 2025. This result comes before what is typically the most profitable quarter and is attributed mainly to rising taxes and fees at Germany’s aviation hub. The number of employees at Eurowings rose to nearly 5,500.
