Lufthansa will resume non-stop flights between Munich and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting October 26, 2025. The airline announced that flight LH640 will depart Munich three times a week at 9:45 p.m., arriving in Riyadh at 4:50 a.m. local time the next day. The return service to Germany is scheduled to leave Riyadh at 6:25 a.m., reaching Munich at 10:25 a.m.

The route will be operated with an Airbus A350-900, which seats 293 passengers across three classes. This schedule allows for connections through Lufthansa’s global network via its Munich hub.

This year marks the 65th anniversary of Lufthansa’s first flight to Saudi Arabia. Together with Eurowings and ITA Airways, Lufthansa Group airlines will offer flights to Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah, totaling 22 weekly departures to Saudi Arabia. Across the region, Lufthansa Group carriers operate more than 120 flights per week.
